The Lusaka High Court has set April 7 as the date for hearing the review of the judgment review case and bail application of convicted musician Clifford Dimba popularly known as General Kanene.
Kanene, who was found guilty of defilement by the Lusaka Magistrate Court on February 4 and committed to the High Court for sentencing, is seeking the review of the case on account that the girls’ age was not determined.
High Court judge Chalwe Mchenga has set April 7 as the date for hearing and determining the bail application.
The controversial musician remains in custody until the case is determined.
