The decision by Tourism Minister Jean Kapata to dissolve the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) board has set her on a collision path with the Patriotic Front top brass with Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba taking issue with the Mandevu lawmaker.
Kapata dissolved the ZAWA board that was appointed by her predecessor Sylvia Masebo.
The dissolved board had Vice President Guy Scott’s wife Charlotte and Patriotic Front Secretary Wynter Kabimba.
Kabimba in league with Masebo are said to have complained to President Sata saying Kapata had deliberately humiliated them.
The duo is also opposed to the appointment of Kapata as Tourism Minister especially that she was also been part of the camp that publicly sought to remove Kabimba as Secretary General during the PF wrangles.
However, Kapata is aware of the scheme to hound her out of her position but claims her grassroots base provides a foolproof safety net.
