Andre MtineThe Ndola High Court has set May 2 as the day for ruling in the case where banned football administrator Andre Mtine has sued the Football Association of Zambia.

Mtine, who was handed an arbitrary ban by FAZ for allegedly playing a role in internationals Stoppilla Sunzu, Nathan Sinkala and Rainford Kalaba from turning up for the friendly match against Brazil, has sought legal recourse.

When the matter came up on Monday for interparty hearing the Football Association of Zambia shunned the hearing.

Mtine contends that the ban is unfair and infringes on his personal liberties.

FAZ has taken to using life bans to sort out members it deems critical and also those who stand in their way for possible financial rip offs from players and agents.

FAZ has banned free speaking administrator Simataa Simataa for life but he has appealed the ban.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had cleared the players of charges that they had illegally entered the country.
