The case in which Alliance for a Better Zambia President Father Frank Bwalya failed to take off after Magistrate Kelvin Soma absconded the session as he is reportedly out of town.
Fr Bwalya, who has made two successive trips to Kasama for his case, has once again been disappointed after his case was adjourned.
The outspoken opposition leader facing one count of defamation of the President for likening President Michael Sata to a potato that breaks when an attempt to straighten is made.
Fr Bwalya used a well known Bemba proverb Chumbu Munshololwa and has been seen in court with a sweet potato.
Magistrate Soma has since adjourned the matter to 10th June, 2014.
On 1st April, 2014, defence in the matter failed to take off after Father Bwalya filed in a notice that he had engaged Sunday Bwalya Nkonde -SBN legal practitioners to represent him in the case.
Father Bwalya had told the court that his lawyers were not available as they had a criminal case in Lusaka.
On 4th March, 2014, Magistrate Siloka found Father Bwalya with a case to answer and put him on his defence.
The cleric has denied the charge of defamation.
