Zambia Slips 5 Slots On FIFA Table

Chipolopolo ParisZambia has dropped five places on the global ranking sinking to 79th in the world and 17th in Africa.

According to the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, the Chipolopolo that are due to play Japan next month have docked just a notch shy of 80.

The Chipolopolo last played an international match on March, 5 against Uganda who they beat 2-1 courtesy of an Evans Kangwa brace.

Zambia’s opponents in the race for the Morocco 2015 Africa Cup Niger are ranked 28th in Africa and 102 in the world while Cape Verde is fifth in Africa and 42nd in the world.

Ivory Coast remains the highest ranked team in Africa with Spain in command on the global standings.
