Banned football administrator Simataa Simataa says he has not received any response from the Football Association of Zambia over his appeal.
The former FAZ chief who was saved a life ban by FAZ says 32 days have lapsed without his appeal being heard as per thirty day constitutional demand.
Simataa cited the constitution and prayed that he be given a fair hearing.
“I read the Times of Zambia, Friday, May 9 2012 No. 15966′s back page headline ‘FIFA rankings a joke – Kalu’ in wonder. Imagine if I had said the same about a FAZ action or thing – triple life ban.
“Anywhere here is one for you to decide. Thirty two [32] days ago, I lodged my appeal against the life ban. The FAZ Constitution Article 56 [5] reads ‘All appeals shall be heard within thirty [30] days’. My rights are being trampled upon.
“I can only guess that a letter will be delivered first by e-mail then hard copy through FEDX anytime now or in the future with a back date. Now who is the JOKE / JOKER?”
Simataa has also made further comments in the wake of FAZ vice-president Boniface Mwamelo’s comments that brings to the fore the long-time fall-out that has cosmetically existed in the Kalusha Bwalya-led executive.
“The FAZ Veep has given us a glimpse into the workings of the FAZ Executive and FAZ. Question who is in the ‘ship’ and the ‘canoe’ with him. Question – when is the day of reckoning?
“Thanks FAZ Veep for letting us know that there is a ‘DAY OF RECKONING’ coming. If the day of reckoning means ‘settlement of an account”. Allow me to ask you to include some outstanding issues – accounts:
“FIRST: I hope it includes the question who owns the CHIPOLOPOLO Trademark if it is registered? If its registered where is registered? Recently Minister of Sport [Chishimba] Kambili asked FAZ to register it. Was the Minister’s directive obeyed?”
Simataa has also thrown a challenge to Mwamelo, an accountant by profession, to disclose what he knows about Africa Cup of Nations refunds CAF gives to national associations.
“On the “DAY OF RECKONING” Bwana FAZ Veep include: SECOND – How much was the Ticket refund to FAZ by CAF for all the trips to the AFCONs allow me to simply put a cap at 2004 or there about.
“CAF refunds all Nations that qualify to the AFCON finals their ticket costs directly to the Chief Delegation Leader. How much was paid [refunded] for each trip? Where was the cash accounted to? Who was the Delegation Leader in each outing ?
“REMEMBER -Its not FAZ money its GRZ/Tax payer’s money. Start with South Africa, then Gabon backwards.By the way there is no mention of these monies in FAZ Accounts. I have some more ‘accounts’ that need settling,” Simataa adds.
