Artistes have continued their fight to remove long standing National Arts Council of Zambia Chairperson Mulenga Kapwepwe who they accuse of having failed and also imposing a life tenure on them.
The artistes led by Brian Shakarongo are expected to present their petition today at the Ministry of Tourism and Arts.
Kapwepwe has also been battling for her survival vowing to stay on and not let the artistes hound her out.
She has also specifically come head to head with musician and academician Saboi Imboela from the Shatel fame with the duo trading verbal blows in the media.

People, Just to remind that the “PETITION” to remove the Mulenga Kapwepwe led Council (Councilors) will be handed to the Minister of Tourism and Arts (under which the arts fall) tomorrow, Tuesday 13th May, 2014.
Apart from failing in their duties, they have over stayed and they are in office illegally now. So we feel it just remains for the government through the Minister to act now to save the artistes (who are the majority) and the arts industry in this country.
The petition will be handed to the Minister by a number of Artistes who will be representing their colleagues. Watch this space for more revelation and information.
