A confidential source within State House has informed Zambia Reports that President Michael Sata is expected to depart Zambia for London tonight. Two sources confirm the report.
The source says that the president’s trip, which is intended for his medical treatment, will be portrayed to be part of his travel to Equatorial Guinea for the African Union Summit next Wednesday, in attempt to conceal his health status.
Initial reports suggest that Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Wynter Kabimba will be made Acting President in Sata’s absence.
