The opposition United Party for National Development has thrown back missiles at Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe for his incessant attacks on the UPND leadership and party.
UPND Deputy Secretary General Kuchunga Simusamba said Munkombwe did not seem like a man enjoying mental clarity.
Simusamba said that it was difficult to take Munkombwe seriously given that he had been a serial entertainer on the political platform.
“We think that he is a sick man, he is not in his right frame of mind and we will not waste time on him on his continuous attacks on us,” he said.
“We know that he makes us laugh, he is a joker so we will simply not waste time on him because he is insane.”
Munkombwe has enjoyed a lion’s share of coverage in the PF aligned Post Newspapers with any vilifying sentiments against the UPND getting front page coverage.
The 78-year old self confessed politics of the belly champion has been hopping from ruling party regime to ruling party throughout his benefits career.
