Chibolya based alleged drug pusher Gerald Musalale notoriously known as Seven Spirits had his short-lived freedom at court on Thursday morning curtailed when he was re-arrested moments after he was discharged by the Lusaka Magistrate Court.
Magistrate Mary Chibanga had freed Musalale citing section 88 (a) of the penal code after the prosecution had asked to revise the charges.
The state had initially been pushing for the charge of drug trafficking and wished to add the charge of being in possession of utensils to administer drugs.
Musalale, however, insists he was not found with any drugs as he was picked from a funeral house.
Just as Musalale was basking in his freshly won freedom, Drug Enforcement Commission officers resurfaced and re-arrested him.
He is due to appear in court today.
