Police have arrested the 33-year-old man of Lusaka’s Kabangwe area who stabbed his pregnant wife to death.
Christopher Tembo has been on the run for five days since his having murdered his wife identified as Tamara.
Tembo was arrested in Chibombo’s Mapili village where he had joined a group of residents who were praying in the mountains.
Some congregants identified him and alerted the police who responded promptly and arrested him.
Tembo reportedly stabbed his wife repeatedly following a domestic dispute.
