Opposition political parties campaigning in the forthcoming Zambezi West Parliamentary by-elections are stranded because they can not access fuel from the only filling station in Zambezi.
The Patriotic Front candidate Christabel Ngimbu is the owner of the only filling station in Zambezi and she has since ordered that no vehicle from the opposition should re-fuel at the filling station, including vehicles carrying officials from the United Party for National Development (UPND) and the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD).
Those from the opposition have resorted into hiring local vehicles or crossing over to the near by Angola to import Diesel or Petrol.
