Foreign affairs minister Given Lubinda has challenged PF Secretary General and Justice minister Wynter Kabimba to make public the exculpatory letter he has written to the Central Committee of the party.
Reacting to the matter in which Kabimba gave him seven days to defend himself against treachery charges, Lubinda said his obligation was to respond to the party’s concerns and that it was now the responsibility of the party Secretary to announce his response.
“He asked me to exculpate myself and that I have done, now it is up to him to inform you what I have said in my letter. He should not hesitate to go public with my response because he announced the decision against me, let him give you a copy of my letter,” he said.
On Monday last week, Kabimba announced that Lubinda would face disciplinary charges for working with the opposition UPND and MMD against government.
Lubinda is accused of spearheading opposition MP protests against PF policies and agendas like the allocation of the K1.5 billion to the office of the First Lady.
