Justice minister Wynter Kabimba has announced today that the Patriotic Front government will close down any NGOs that are championing aspirations of foreign governments.
Speaking in Choma where he was officiating at the PF southern Province consultative meeting, Kabimba said government will not tolerate entities that are working against government at the interest of foreign countries.
He said Zambians voted for the PF government and expect it to deliver development without interference.
“The people of Zambia voted the PF into power, they did not vote for NGOs therefore those NGOs working against the government voted into office by the people will not be allowed to operate in this country.”
“We know there are some NGOs which are working to frustrate government efforts and you the people of Zambia should guard this country against such institution,” he said.
He said the PF government has a clear road map that the people of Zambia want it to follow.
