The presidential debates will kick off this evening with a modest panel getting the candidates started in a two day round.
With the two leading contenders unlikely to pitch up the occurrence has sucked some life out of the debates but no doubt the eight that have confirmed attendance may win some love for showing some respect to the public.
The line up this evening at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre will have Forum for Democratic Alternatives leader Ludwig Sondashi, UNIP’s Tilyenji Kaunda, New Revolution Party president Erick Chanda and Danny Pule of the Christian Democratic Party.
