Parliament has ratified the appointment of Justice Marvin Mwanamwambwa as Deputy Chief Justice.
Justice Mwanamwambwa’s ratification was ratified alongside that of former Pemba Member of Parliament David Matongo as Electoral Commission of Zambia board member and Geoffrey Simukoko as member of the Judicial Complaints Commission.
Mwanamwambwa has been practising law since 1981 and is famed to be one of the judges with a small backlog of cases.
His appointment was passed without dissent when the motion was put before the house.
