SPEAKER of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini has censured UPND vice-president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba or GBM for insulting PF members of parliament within the parliament premises.
The censure has been made following a point of order raised by Mazabuka UPND Member of Parliament Garry Nkombo who wanted to know whether GBM was in order to hurl insults within the parliament buildings.
Nkombo is one of the UPND senior members who was earmarked to take up the position of party vice-president but it was unceremoniously given to GBM instead.
GBM insulted PF members of parliament after defecting to UPND where he has since been appointed vice-president.
Recently, GBM acted violently and threatened to beat up Mfuwe Member of Parliament and Muchinga Province minister Mwimba Malama and deputy minister Obvious Chisala outside parliament.
GBM also insulted the two ministers and told them that they are from small tribes.
