Agriculture minister Dora Siliya has arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast to launch a campaign for two Zambians seeking senior posts at the African Union.
Ambassador Austin Sichinga and Ambassador Albert Muchanga will contest position of Commissioner for Rural Economic and Agriculture and Trade and Industry respectively.
Siliya is President Edgar Lungu’s special envoy to West Africa.

Dear friends
I have just arrived in Abidjan,ivory coast on a three country tour of Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso as a special envoy for President Lungu.
My mission is to campaign for the position of Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture for Dr Austin Sichinga as well as Ambassador Albert Muchanga for Commissioner Trade and Industry.
The elections for these AU positions Will be in January and this will be the first time that Zambia is seeking such senior positions.
