Security agents at Kariba border post in Siavonga have intercepted six Congolese nationals who entered Zambia illegally.
The prohibited immigrants were arrested on Monday night around 20; 00 hours on the Zimbabwean side after they entered the country without travelling documents.
Jonas Luyela 28, one of the Congolese from Ngoma Township who claimed to be a refuge said they were en route to the refugee camp in Zimbabwe at the time of the arrest.
The immigrants who did not have travelling documents have since been screened and detained at Siavonga Police Station.
