Lesotho coachZambia will today engage Lesotho in the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers with coach Herve Renard targeting maximum three points.

The Frenchman welcomes back to the fold some fresh blood in winger Fwayo Tembo, whom he hopes will add some sparks to the Chipolopolo attack.

However, there is no major change from the team Renard has been with the last two years with defender Stophilla Sunzu passing a last minute fitness test.

Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is assured of his place with a backline comprising Emmanuel Mbola and Davis Nkausu on the left and right wingback and Sunzu and Hichani Himoonde expected to keep the host strikers at bay.

History favours Zambia but Lesotho can be stubborn before their home fans and Chipolopolo are called to be cautious.

Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi is banking on surprises and warns Chipolopolo not to underrate his side.

“We believe in ourselves, we have surprised a lot of teams here (at Sesotho Stadium),” he said.

“We want to be up there with these big guns especially for Lesotho, we are a very small country with 1.8 million people and always every time we are regarded as minnows.”

Notsi said Sesotho had been a crashing ground for big teams before.

“Our record at home has been great since we started preparation for FIFA tournaments, we have beaten Burundi and Sao Tome and Principe (AFCON 2013 qualifier),” he said.

Zambia leads Group D on six points, three better than Ghana who face Sudan in Kumasi tonight.
