Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili has opted to take the proposed new Sports University to his him town Luanshya.
Kambwili announced that the proposed multi sports discipline would be built in Luanshya although there was a challenge finding land as Mopani Copper Mines was reluctant to grant government access to the proposed site.
He said he would in two weeks time travel to meet the owners of the land to negotiate for the land.
The proposed university will be the first ever in the country.
