Lubansenshi Independent Patriotic Front Member of Parliament Patrick Mucheleka has challenged Information Mwansa Kapeya to disclose the people that he alleged were funding the church and civil society organizations over their call for the release of the draft constitution.
Mucheleka said Kapeya should also reveal the names of the churches and civil society organizations that had received bribes to press for a new constitution or stop talking about it.
He said that if Kapeya had evidence the smart thing to do was to release the names adding that the Minister may have just been shooting in the dark.
“We would like to appeal to the President and his Minister to reveal who has hijacked the process and especially for the minister of information Mr Kapeya to reveal which civil and church organizations have been paid or also who had paid them to demand rightfully for the constitution,” Mucheleka said.
“Also if Mr Kapeya has evidence let him release otherwise he should stop insulting the church and civil society organizations.”
