The Post Newspaper has been forced to apologize to former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba over a false story they published about him in their Friday edition.
Editor in Chief Fred M’membe admitted that his editors had not verified the story before they published it. On Friday, Post spokesperson Sheikh Chifuwe was quoted by Radio Phoenix defending the falsehoods on GBM.
M’membe said he had called his connections in the PF that confirmed that Mwamba’s being in Luanshya was based on hearsay.
The Post Newspaper has been pounding the Kasama lawmaker granting acres of space to anyone with anything negative to say about the former Defence Minister.
