Trial in which opposition Movement for Multi Party Democracy President Nevers Mumba is accused of abuse of authority of office has been adjourned to March, 24.
Mumba, who is facing what he believes are politically motivated charges, has been charged with several offences during his tenure of office as Zambian High Commissioner to Canada.
He is among other offences charged with not declaring 156, 000 Canadian dollars that were paid to him on behalf of the Zambian government.
Lusaka Magistrate Joshua Banda adjourned the matter to March, 24 for continued trial.
