Lusaka District Patriotic Front chairperson Mulenga Sata says the PF would not mind having a by-election in Lusaka to prove its popularity.
Mulenga said the PF was still hurting over the loss in Katuba Constituency but noted that they lost to a well grounded candidate in Jonas Shakafuswa.
He said the PF will continue working hard to increase its numbers in parliament.
“I do not like talking about by-elections but you know that in Katuba we lost to a candidate who has a strong historical background there. We have a lot of work to do,” he said.
“We are ready for any by-election in Lusaka Province.”
By-elections have become a regular occurrence since the PF took over power in 2011.
