Three people have died in a road traffic accident in Mwinilunga District after a Solwezi bound Jitowe Bus overturned near the Kabompo River.
The accident has also left 16 other people seriously injured after the driver of the bus failed to negotiate a corner.
Road traffic accidents have continued being a nightmare on long distance routes with various remedial measures so far not arresting the trend that some more radical elements of society have linked to spiritual offerings.
The accident happened around 06:00 hours approximately 112 kilometres from Mwinilunga Boma.
